What is the RAL System?
RAL (Reichs-Ausschuß für Lieferbedingungen) is a color standards system established in Germany in 1927. Each color is identified by a unique 4-digit code — meaning you can specify a color to any manufacturer or applicator anywhere in the world and receive the exact same result.
